Speeding: A Novel Approach

Where I live, the powers that be take a rather staid and tedious approach to controlling speeding motorists. It usually involves installing more stoplights, on the theory that forcibly "slowing people down" will help. Personally, I think it's a stupid approach and all they succeed in doing is making drivers impatient. But I guess that's okay with them, because that's just more money for the cops to collect in speeding tickets.

The Danes, however, seem to have developed an entirely novel approach:

[I used to have this video embedded right here, unfortunately, the dumbasses who set it up set it to autoplay, and it's getting pretty fucking annoying having the thing autoplay still, three months later. So, this is much lower on the coolness scale, but I just couldn't take it anymore, so here's an ordinary link to the video, which will autoplay after you click the link:]

That just makes your day, doesn't it?

Props to Chris H. for posting this vid at DWS beta forums. (Whoops--I put the wrong link here originally, and now I have no idea where the original post was. Sorry.)
